Offally Good Calf Heart Braise with Roots and Mash
A very old frugal favourite from my childhood, a calf's heart braised with carrots, turnips, swedes. You can read how I made it over on A Greedy Piglet.
If you have never eaten heart, this is the time of year to give it a try! Cheap and tasty!
